Privacy Policy
Your audio never leaves your device
When you choose a file, your browser reads it locally and decodes it with the Web Audio API. Cutting, previewing and exporting all happen inside the tab. No audio file, audio data or waveform is uploaded to us. We have no server that receives audio, we do not store it, and we cannot listen to it.
There is no account system, no cloud storage and no history. Closing or reloading the page releases the audio from memory.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address or any account details. There is no sign-up and no login. We do not sell personal data and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
This site does not run any analytics or tracking script. There is no Google Analytics, no heatmap recorder and no session replay.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp in order to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors and we do not combine them with any other data.
Advertising
This site may be supported by advertising. When advertising is enabled we use Google AdSense to display ads.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Where the law requires it — in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — we ask for your consent before setting advertising cookies, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time. Elsewhere ads load without a banner and the opt-out links above still apply. Declining advertising cookies does not affect the audio tools; they run entirely in your browser.
Cookies
The audio tools work with every cookie blocked. Beyond that, only two kinds of cookie can appear here:
- ac_consent — set by this site, only after you make a choice in the consent banner, so we can remember it.
- Google advertising cookies (such as __gads, __gpi and IDE) — set by Google when advertising is enabled; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland only after you accept.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them does not change how the tools work.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to processing, or to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold no accounts and no audio files, most such requests concern advertising data held by Google — use the opt-out links above, or write to us and we will point you to the right place.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes — for example a new advertising partner — this page will be updated before the change takes effect. The date below always reflects the current version.
